Mrs. Drusilla Ann WHITTENBERGER, 23, Warsaw, was killed Thursday evening when her car rolled over four times just east of Columbia City on U.S. 30, police said.

Investigators said the young woman, a teacher at Wolf Lake elementary school, pulled out to pass another car and the left front wheel of her car slipped off the roadway, sending the auto out of control. She was pronounced dead on arrival at the Whitley county hospital in Columbia City at 5:20 p.m.

Born March 15, 1949 in Plymouth, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Drusilla CARTER MORGAN. Her marriage was Oct. 3, 1971, at Akron to Gary WHITTENBERGER, who survives. She was a member of the Akron United Methodist church.

Also surviving are her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Lloyd MORGAN, Akron; four sisters, Michele and Allison MORGAN, both of Akron; Mrs. David (Denise) BUSSARD, also of Akron, and Miss Adria MORGAN, of Warsaw; two brothers, James [MORGAN], of Davenport, Ia., and Lloyd [MORGAN] Jr., of Akron; the paternal grandfather, Oscar MORGAN, of Plymouth; the
maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. CARTER, Jacksonville, Fla., and aunts and uncles.

Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Sheetz funeral home in Akron. The Rev. John MOORE will officiate. Burial will be in the Akron cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday.
