Marcella "Marcy" Ann Aivaliotis, age 63, of Gresham, Oregon, fell asleep in the Lord during the early morning hours of February 11, 2014. She was surrounded by loved-ones in the comfort of her home when she passed.
Marcy was born in Portland, Oregon on January 24, 1951. She spent much of her youth growing up in the coastal town of Coos Bay, Oregon. She married the love of her life, Anastasios "Tom" E. Aivaliotis in January, 1971. Marcy spent most of her adult life in Gresham, Oregon, where she raised her family. For more than 20 years she worked as a receptionist and secretary for the Law Offices of Welch, Bruun, & Green located in Portland, Oregon.
She is survived by her two sons, Anthony Aivaliotis and wife, Amy of Portland, Oregon, and Peter Aivaliotis of Gresham, Oregon; granddaughter, Lexi; sisters, Mary Haug and husband, Bob of Washougal, Washington, and Alanna Chatzigiannakos and husband, Xenofon of Gresham, Oregon; and brothers, Stephen Kessler of Salem, Oregon, and Randy Kessler of Sandy, Oregon.
Marcy was preceded in death by her husband Anastasios "Tom" E. Aivaliotis; her parents, Michael and Iva Kessler; and two of her brothers, Wendling "Wen" Kessler, and John Kessler.
