ALEXANDER, HUNTER SCOT Hunter Scot Alexander, age 9, of Warrior, Alabama, passed away August 22, 2012. Hunter was diagnosed with medulloblastoma (brain cancer) on December 31, 2011. He underwent radiation therapy at Hazelrig-Salter Oncology Radiation Center at UAB Hospital under the direction of Dr. John Fiveash and chemotherapy at Children's Hospital under the direction of Dr. Alyssa Reddy, Kara Roberts, CRNP, and Sasha Ramini, CRNP. We are thankful of the efforts made by each of them. Hunter loved fishing, hunting, playing football and basketball. He was a huge fan of Nascar, University of Alabama Sports, the Tabernacle Torches and the Hayden Wildcats. Throughout his journey, Hunter was never afraid. Hunter is our hero and a hero to many who are known and many unknown. Hunter attended Tabernacle Christian School at Gardendale Baptist Tabernacle. Hunter attended Crossroads Baptist Church. He accepted Jesus Christ as his savior on February 3, 2011. He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Ruben and Bernice Bibby, James Hood, Oma Hood, John and Virginia Davis, and Harold and Helen Alexander. He is survived by his parents, Scot and Jeana Alexander; his brother, Micah Alexander; his grandparents, Charles and Donna Davis, Barnette and Lena Littlefield, Mary Hester, and Mike and Jeanette Alexander; his aunts and uncles, Henry and Lisa Lowery, Brandon Davis, Lloyd and Krista Alford, Dana Davis, Brad Davis, Chip and Mary Brantley, Kent and Lynsey Brantley, Todd and Melanie Alaxander, Michael Medici, and Dominic Medici; his cousins, Chad and Christina Lowery, Trinity Davis, Hunter and Taylor Alford, Kade Brantley, Ava Brantley, Samuel Cranford, and Caleb Medici; and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 25, 2012 from 6-8 PM at Crossroads Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at 2 PM at Crossroads Baptist Church, with burial to the place at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
