Ival Gene Dutcher, 80, of Sun City and White Bear Lake, Minnesota, died on Monday, February 19, 2007.

Gene was a retired engineer and eecutive with the Whirlpool Corporation, naval veteran of World war II and a man who had arms big enough for everyone.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margit D. Dutcher and brother, Rollie Dutcher.

He is survived by special friend, Marye Snyder; sons, Kelley G. (Annette), James R. (Sonja), Brent T. (Patricia), Samuel L. (Gail) and Richard A. (Jacqueline); daughter, Jill A. Dutcher and many grandchildren. He is also survived by special sons, David (Julie) Snyder, Robert (JoAnn) Snyder and Scott (Mary) Snyder; special daughter, Leslie (Robert) Etter and many special grandchildren.

Visitation was held Wednesday, February 21, at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown. Funeral services were Saturday, February 24, at Redeemer Luthern Church in White Bear Lake.
