Joseph George Draper age 84, of Georgetown, Texas passed away Sunday January 13, 2008 in a local nursing home. He was born October 24, 1923 to George Washington and Dolly Rhoda (Kirk) Draper. He attended school at Pond Springs in Austin. He served in the Army during World War II. He worked as a crane operator for Texas Quarries. Joseph married Dessie Ruth Young on July 28, 1942 in Austin. Preceding Joseph in death are a son; Ira Lee; daughters JoAnn Smith, Joan Draper, and Elizabeth Draper; brothers Ollie and John West . He leaves to cherish his memory his sons Joseph Draper and Wife Mary Elizabeth of Center, Texas, Lonnie Draper and wife Bessie of Georgetown, Texas, Ronnie Draper and wife Doris of Georgetown, Texas; daughters Maudie Streeter and husband Bill of Georgetown, Texas, Harriet Peterson and husband James of Pflugerville, Texas, Georgia King and husband T.J. of Hutto, Texas, Darlene Crow and husband Curtis of Florence, Texas, 32 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 5 great great-grandchildren.
