Albert Christian Bielss, 84 a lifelong resident of Walburg and Williamson County, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2012, with his family gathered at his side. Visitation will be held at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH35, Georgetown, on Sunday, April 8, 2012 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. A service celebrating Albert's life and his faith will be held on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 10:00AM at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
Albert was born January 26, 1928 in Walburg, to the late Oscar and Marie Braun Bielss. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Meta Liese and his brother, Alfred Bielss. He was lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran, having been baptized there as a young child and completing his confirmation class as a teenager. Later in life Albert served on the church council and the properties committee. Albert married the love of his life, Bernice Lehman on November 14, 1948 in Walburg. Albert had a love for the land, he was a farmer and rancher all his life, working right up to the age of 84 years old.
Albert is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bernice Bielss; his daughter, Patsy Floyd; his sons, Stanley Bielss and his wife Audrey, Ricky Bielss and his wife Tammy; his sister, Frieda Coldewey; his grandchildren, Gregg Floyd, Kelly Floyd, Chelsea Frashure and her husband Gregg, Candice Hill and her husband Nate, Chance Bielss and his wife Danica, Stacie Bittner and her husband Codi; one great granddaughter, Destiny Wright; along with numerous other loving family member and friends.
