Karen, 60, of Cement city, MI. passed away at the University of Michigan Health Systems Monday, July 28, 2014. She was the daughter of Jack Eugene and Juna Mae (Aldridge) Moses.

Karen is survived by two daughters, Kindra (Jeff) Padgett, and Lindsey (Matthew) Hazzard of Durham, NC; five grandchildren, Camden, Logen, Kaylin and Addison Padgett, and Juliana Hazzard; her parents; brother, Greg (Judy) Moses; fiancé Rick Rutledge; several extended family members and dear friends.

She was a 1972 graduate of Northwest High School; Employee of the University of Michigan Health Systems for over 17 years as an Administrative Office Professional.

Karen enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, antiquing, canvas painting, gardening, and baking. She was loved by many and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of her life was held at Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church Thursday, July 31, Reverend Mark VanValin officiating.
