Toms River – Delores Ann Butler died Sunday, August 31, 2014 at home. She was 66.
Born in Fairmont, WV, she spent most of her life in Toms River, NJ.
Prior to retiring, she was a Patient Care Assistant for Bayville Manor in Bayville, NJ.
She was predeceased by 2 sisters: Elsie & Patty.
Surviving is her loving companion of 20 years, Clarence Youmans; 5 children: Karen Butler of Jackson, Mildred Butler of Charlestown, ID, Darlene Williamson of Las Vegas, NV, Billie Jo Butler of Toms River, and Joseph Butler of Toms River; 10 grandchildren: Sarah, Jennifer, Dominick, Nicholas, Heather, William, Alex, Isaiah, Brian and Kelly; 2 sisters: Dorothy & Sandy; a brother, Bob; and many other relatives.
Delores was a long-time member of the United Church of Christ in Toms River and often volunteered for the church on weekends. She also loved to play Bingo and was an avid animal lover, having many cats and dogs throughout her life. Above all, though, family was the most important part of her life, meaning more to her than anything.
