JAMES L. DELAGRANGE, 71, of rural Woodburn, died on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014, at his home. Born Jan. 27, 1943, in Woodburn, he was a son of the late Joseph and Anna Dela grange. He married Marie Eicher on June 22, 1963 in Harlan, Ind.; she survives in Woodburn. Since 1974, James was the sole owner of James L. Delagrange Construction Inc., in Wood burn. He was a member of North Leo Mennonite Church, Leo, and loved singing bass, golf, softball, antique cars and tractors, croquet and spending time and playing cards with his kids and grandkids. He was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Delagrange; a sister, Barbara Bontrager; and a brother, Benjamin Delagrange. Service is 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, at North Leo Mennonite Church, Leo, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Marshall Anderson and nephew Rob Eicher officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014 and Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014, at the church. Burial in Yaggy Cemetery.
