According to our Stewart Family Bible Catherine Wallis Stewart was the wife of Charles Stewart. All my information and dates I have listed comes from this Bible.
Catherine and Charles had two sons, Rufus and James. Both born in Wahalak, Kemper County, MS.
Kemper County Court House burned twice before 1920 according to what I was told at the court house, so therefore all the records were burned that could have given me more information.
I have been twice to Kemper County searching old cemeteries but have never found a grave for Catherine. In the 1850's Charles Stewart took his two sons and moved to Hale County, Al. Catherine will never be forgotten for she lives on in the lives of her family.
