Bertha M. Aspinall, 77, of Staples Avenue died yesterdayat the Laurel Foster Home, Coventry.
She was the widow of Fredrick H. Aspinall.
Born in Rehoboth, a daughter of the late Joseph and Albertine (Brunell) Young, she moved to Warwick in 1925.
Mrs. Aspinall was a hairdresser, serving as a teacher, and was appointed principal of the Rhode Island Academy of Beauty Culture, a position she held for 18 years before returning to self-employment in 1962. From 1963 to 1973, she owned a beauty salon in the Greenwood section.
She was a communicant of St. Barnabas Church.
She is survived by two sisters.
