Audrey Ellen Zeller, 73 of Elk Point passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at her home in Elk Point.
Audrey was born on January 14, 1937 in Estelline, SD to Samuel and Ellen (Olson) Hatlestad. She graduated from Estelline High School in 1955 and married Gerald (Jerry) Zeller on August 18, 1957 in Watertown, SD. Audrey and Jerry moved to Elk Point in 1970 where Audrey ran a daycare out of her home for 30 years.
Audrey was also a member of the Elk Point United Parish and of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Elk Point. Audrey was well-known in the community of Elk Point and loved by those who knew her.
Audrey is survived by her husband, Jerry Zeller of Elk Point, SD; her sons, Todd Zeller of Papillion, NE, Tim (Tama) Zeller of Elk Point, SD, and Jeff(Jodi) Zeller of Elk Point, SD; her daughter, Jodi (Todd) Beaton of Woodstock, GA; her brother, Terry Hatlestad of Vcaicai, California; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Ellen (Olson) Hatlestad; her brother, Marv Hatlestad; her daughter-in-law, Mary Zeller; and her granddaughter, Ashley Zeller.
Burial will be at a later date.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at United Parish Church with family present in Elk Point from 5:30-7:00 PM with a prayer service/video tribute at 7:00 PM.
Memorial service will be on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at United Parish Church in Elk Point at 11:00 AM.
