ROBERT A. HUME
Robert A. Hume, native of Watford district and for 16 years a Veterinary Surgeon in Western Canada until he returned to the Arkona district a few years ago, died at his home there on Good Friday, aged 75 years. He had been in failing health for several years. His widow was formerly Mary A. Smith of 4th line Warwick and the family includes two sons, Clare and Ray both of Saskatoon and a brother Ernest Hume of Warwick. A private funeral service was conducted at his Arkona home on Monday afternoon with interment in Arkona Cemetery. Pallbearers were George Leggate, Dawson Mackey, Albert Muxlow, Reid Crawford, Don Stephenson and Elwood Johnston, all of Arkona district.
