Charles Rayburn Baker, age 78, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at his home. He was born June 16, 1937, in Scott City, Missouri, to the late Truman J. and Vevalee (Lancaster) Baker. Charles was a graduate of Scott City High School, a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean conflict and was a cook in various restaurants. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter, Leah Wren, of Aurora; one brother, Truman L. Baker and his wife, Cynthia, of Scott City. No services are planned at this time. Local arrangements are under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora. On line condolences may be shared at this website.
