YAHNER– Randy W. “Mooch,” 59, Northern Cambria, passed away Aug. 15, 2015, at his residence. Born Sept. 2, 1955, in Spangler, son of Albert and Jeannine (Zern) Yahner. Preceded in death by his father; father-in-law, George Dercotch; and brother-in-law, Michael Litzinger. Survived by his mother, Patton; loving wife of 22 years, Diane (Dercotch) Yahner, Northern Cambria; children, Joshua (Courtney) Yahner, Cherry Tree; Henry (Suzy) Vehovic, Erie; Janel Bailey, Patton; and Cara Vehovic, and fiance, BJ Receskey, Cherry Tree; and grandchildren, Lydia, Cassidy, Kiera, Brady, Lillia and Owen. Brother of Debra (Frank) Damratoski, Texas; Robert J. Yahner, New York; Jody C. (Patty) Yahner, York; Michelle Litzinger, DuBois; Edward (Mary Beth) Yahner, Brockway; and Brian (Kelly) Yahner, Conyngham; mother-in-law, Dorothy (Malicky) Dercotch, Northern Cambria; and his loving dog, Emmi. Member of Prince of Peace Church. Randy was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force, where he was based in California and England. A 1972 graduate of Bishop Carroll High School. A track star at Thaddeus Stevens Trade School, Lancaster. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at Prince of Peace Chapel. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. Military honors by local veterans organizations.
