Caitlin Marie Parbs, 22, of Springfield, Illinois, passed away at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at her home.
Caitlin was born April 13, 1993 in Springfield, the daughter of Michael and Denise (Denton) Parbs. She was preceded in death by her father and grandmother, Twilda Neal.
She is survived by her mother; brother, Matthew (Rebecca Beard) Parbs; grandparents, Roy and Cheryl Denton and many aunts and uncles, including her aunt, Wanda Parbs, who Caitlin regarded as a second mother.
Caitlin was a graduate of Springfield High School and earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield, where she made the Dean's List numerous times. Caitlin had a sensitive and kind spirit with a wry sense of humor. She was an avid reader, movie buff, and animal lover. Her greatest love was her family with whom she enjoyed playing board games.
