He was born June 12, 1942 in Seligman, Missouri to Henry and Lou (Crain) Bray.
Renard served in the U.S. Army and then the National Guard.
He retired from the National Park Service after 25 years.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Bray; and a brother, Rodden Bray.
He is survived by his wife, Judy (Atkins) Bray of the home; four children, Margaret McClure of Rogers, Mike Bray of Bentonville, Sherri Dean of Garfield, and Rob Bray of Rogers; two brothers, Ronald Bray of Pea Ridge, and Reldon Bray of Garfield; one sister, Rhenda Allen of Granby, Missouri; and 14 grandchildren.
A Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 2, 2016 at Liberty Cemetery.
Cremation arrangements are with Heritage Funeral Home.
