With heavy heart we announce the passing of Jeffery William Taylor, age 59, Saturday, August 27, 2016. Father, Uncle, Cousin, Friend, Everybody's Favorite, he was surrounded by the love of his family.

Jeffery was born July 16, 1957.

The bacon eater, "goodie box" curator, the grand story-teller, the camping champion, the chair hauler, the bike rider, the one with the most campfire toys and always with the most stories. He was a laid back, slow talking, hardworking man. He was strong, good, helpful and funny. He was the baby brother. He was a grandson herder and a granddaughter lover.

Like the huge shade tree, our family gathers under during our reunion—he is gone. God in his infinite wisdom kept him from suffering from a long arduous battle with his recently diagnosed cancer. He told some of his fear, "If I have to die, I don't want to linger and waste away." His philosophy was always, "Let's get the job done."

Jeff loved his family and friends. He loved mankind. So smile, go fishing, camp, ride a bike, eat bacon, tell a joke. Be like Jeff.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James; and a sister, Josephine.

Jeffery is survived by his son, Jason (and his wife, Claire) of London, England; daughter, Summer Newman of Bella Vista, Arkansas; grandsons, Michael and Branson Newman; granddaughters, Judy and Josie Taylor; brother, Jerry (and his wife, Jane) of Oklahoma City, sisters, Jean Daley of Oklahoma City, Neomia Jan Carrillo of Mukilteo, Washington, Janice Manning (and her husband, Art) of Westminster, California, and Julia (and her husband, Tal) of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

A Memorial Service for our beloved Jeffery will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 3, 2016 at St. Theodore's Episcopal Church, Bella Vista, Arkansas.

Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.
