He married Chrystal Myers in 1984. They settled into the house at Elm and Water in Olathe. The marriage produced children Brian and Heather. In 1998 he married Sally Brown. Staying at the house on Elm they raised 5 more boys and a girl. On July 4, 1999 he fell on a trampoline. It left him quadriplegic. He still lived life with a smile! One of his loves was an annual deep sea fishing trip to the Gulf of Mexico. With an electric reel he still went deep sea fishing for several years. He loved fishing, cookouts, going to concerts, with his family and care givers. His big smile and always happy outlook will be missed by all. The family would like to thank the care givers over the years.
He is survived by his wife Sally Miller, brother Larry Miller, brother Gary Miller and wife Gaybine Faye Miller, nieces Courtnie, Kim, Liz, and nephew Chris; Children Brian Miller, Heather Hall, her husband Brandin Hall and 3 grandchildren. He is also survived by children James, Robert, Dorothy, Charles, Dewayne, George and 23 more grandchildren and his caregiver Connie Ferreira.
Visitation will be 3-5 followed by a service on Sunday, August 28 at Waterworks park in Olathe. Bring a fishing pole for fishing and a cookout after the service. His cremains will go on a final deep sea fishing trip at a later date.
