Caroline was known as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who cherished all of those relationships. Her giving spirit was shown through her dedication to several community organizations. Chief among them was First Baptist Church where she was a life-long member and active as a Sunday School teacher for many years, as well as a regular volunteer in the church's outreach ministries. She was a past president of the Junior League of Knoxville and believed strongly in her work with Literacy of Knoxville, teaching adults to read.
She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Gary and Cherry Hill Jones, Robert and Margaret Hill, Chris and Caroline Hill Milne, and Chuck and Mary Beth Hill. She is also survived by her loving brother and his wife, Mahan and Janice Siler; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 pm in the First Baptist Knoxville Sanctuary.
