Robert C. Liuzzo, 77, of Houghton Lake passed away on Tuesday October 18, 2016 at home.
Bob was born on January 21, 1939 in Detroit, to Carmelo and Belva (Steele) Liuzzo. He served in the Army. Robert worked as a Entrepreneur in service businesses, including being the founder of West Shore Parts and Service now known as Hard Core Performance of Houghton Lake, which is operated by his son and grandson. Robert was married on April 19, 1969 in Detroit to Shirley Ann Ciresi. The couple moved to the Houghton Lake from Lake Orion in1978.
Surviving Mr. Liuzzo are his loving wife of 47 years, Shirley Ann Liuzzo of Houghton Lake; daughter, Darla Vezina of Burton; son, Robert J. Liuzzo of Houghton Lake; grandson, Robert J. Liuzzo, Jr. of Houghton Lake; granddaughter, Dayna Vezina of Burton; five sisters, Carol Liuzzo of Harrison, Linda Baeske of Indiana, Norma Gick of Indiana, Mitzi Tanner of Detroit, and Joyce Serra of Detroit; two brothers, Joe Liuzzo of Casco, and Denny Liuzzo of Alabama; several nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Paul Joseph Vezina, and sister, Beverly Nowawski.
At the request of Robert C. Liuzzo there will be no services. Memorial contributions in memory of Robert are asked to be directed to the Roscommon County Animal Shelter.
