J.C. Denniston, 68, of Searcy, formerly of Judsonia, went to be with the Lord October 21, 2016 at The Crossing in Searcy. He was born September 6, 1948 at Searcy to the late Joe Leslie and Lillian Law Denniston.
He graduated from Judsonia High School in 1966 and attended ASU Beebe as well as serving in the U.S. Army. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and any and all sports. He enjoyed woodworking, carpentry, and was very creative with his hands. But most of all he loved his family and grandchildren. He loved the Lord with all his heart and was a member of The River in Judsonia. He was a retired lineman, having worked in the industry for 40 years.
He married Dianne Smith Denniston May 8, 1981 at Judsonia, Arkansas; she survives. He is also survived by two sons, Justin Law (Meredith) of Searcy and Joe Denniston of Texas; two daughters, Rachel Siler (Kevin) of Bald Knob and Christi Ball (Mason) of Texas; sister, Carolyn J. Chumley of Judsonia; twelve grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
The family is having a memorial service 6:00 p.m. Sunday, October 23 at The River (exit 48 in Judsonia).
