Mr. Robert Miller, age 88, formerly of Davenport Center, NY, and currently a resident of Homelife at Folts in Herkimer, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, January 15, 2017.
Born on November 3, 1928 in Woodside, NY, Robert was the son of the late George and Emma (Schmid) Miller. He was raised and educated in Woodside and was a graduate of local schools. He was united in marriage to the former Geraldine B. Wood at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Woodside. She passed away on June 2, 2008.
Robert was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served in Japan during World War II. He spent over 50 years as an Operating Engineer with the International Union of Operating Engineers.
In keeping with Robert's wishes, there will be no formal services.
