Joe Hundley, 72, of Danville, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at his home. He was born on January 13, 1945 to the late Godbey and Hazel Roney Hundley. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Linda Spears Hundley.

Joe was a farmer his entire life, raising cattle and tobacco. Being part owner in Boyle County Stockyards for many years, he knew everyone and was loved by all. Joe was most proud of his family, being a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of Hedgeville Baptist Church.

Also surviving are a daughter, Lee Ann Hamm (Wendell) of Frankfort; two granddaughters, Taylor McKenzie Hamm and Kelsey Morgan Hamm, both of Frankfort; one nephew, Mark Tanner of Elizabethtown; and three dear friends, Gladys Faulkner, Darlene Wooten, and Mary Gilmer.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard Lee Hundley.

Funeral services 2PM Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Jonathan Grizzell officiating. Burial in Hillcrest Cemetery in Perryville, Kentucky. Visitation is from 12PM-until time of service.

Pallbearers will be Bill Hundley, Bennie Gilbert, Brian Hundley, Mark Tanner, Burnam Lanham, Wendell Hamm, Jimmy Lair, Gary Gorley, Jimmy Overstreet, and Laddie Garrison.

Memorial contributions are preferred to Hedgeville Baptist Church Building Fund and Danville/Boyle County Humane Society.
