Mrs. Scheyd was the daughter of the late John J. and Elizabeth (Frederick) Schussler.
Her hobbies and interests include, knitting afghans and baby sweaters. She enjoyed playing scrabble and solitaire and was an avid reader.
Mrs. Scheyd was a fabulous cook and was known for her wonderful and delicious apple and pineapple pies. Her most favorite times were spent with her family.

Scheyd and his wife, Jo-Ann, of Allenstown; a daughter, Barbara S. Sanel and her husband, Alfred, of Bedford; a granddaughter, Karey; a grandson, Travis; a great-granddaughter, Lyla; and three nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, David.
