JACKSON, June L. 78, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014. She was born November 7, 1935, in Springfield, Ohio to Wallace and Margaret (Reed) Westmoreland. She leaves to cherish her memory three children; Timothy J. Jackson, Jimmy Jackson, and Allison E. Bruner, four sisters; Inez (Tobie) Wood, Sharon "Cookie" (James) King, Cynthia Lawson, and Rebekah (Napoleon) Biles, twelve grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, a special friend; Willie Simmons, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband of seventeen years Jimmy Jackson, a son, Richard Westmoreland, three brothers; Wallace E., Ashley, and Stephen Westmoreland, and two grandsons; Ricky Avery and Keith Jackson. Public viewing will be held Thursday, April 24, 2014 at St. John Missionary Baptist church 34 W. Pleasant Ave. from 10:00 am until noon with funeral services starting at noon. The family has requested in leu of flowers that donations be sent to the American Alzheimer's Association in June Jackson's name. The family wishes to especially thank Friends Community Care Center of Yellow Springs, Ohio for the exceptional care they gave June. Services have been entrusted to Washington Funeral Home 1530 S. Yellow Springs St.
