Sumter, SC -- Mark Dennis Shupp, age 59, beloved husband of Wendy Smith Emes Shupp died on Monday, August 18, 2014 at his residence.
He was born on June 18, 1955 in Mesa, Arizona, the son of the late Percival Shupp and Mildred Weinbrenner Shupp. He retired from the Florida Department of Corrections as Chief Budget Officer of the Southern Florida Division.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Bradley Shupp and Victoria McGovern of Richmond, VA; two daughters, Brianna Shupp Cummins and her husband Donald of Dunedin, Fl; and Melissa Marshall and husband Fred of Sumter, SC; and two grandsons, Jacob Marshall of Sumter, SC and Levi Herman Cummins of Dunedin, FL.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
