Dennie Gene Buswell, age 75, a resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2014, at Livingston Manor Care Center, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Dennie was born the son of William and Velma (Johnson) Buswell on June 9, 1939, in Sumner, Missouri. He was a member of the United States Air Force from 1956 until 1959. He was united in marriage to Virginia “Ann” Miller on March 3, 1963, in Chanute, Kansas. She survives of the home. He worked for Donaldson Company for 38 years. Dennie was a jack of all trades, and enjoyed trot line fishing, spending time at his lake house in Warsaw, hunting, and telling jokes and stories. He was a member of the Hale Lions Club and served as past President.
Survivors include his wife Ann of the home; two daughters, Denise Hutchison and Darrell Robertson of Nashville, Tennessee, and Karen Higgs of Windsor, Missouri; five grandchildren, Stephen Lightle of St. Louis, Missouri, Lacey Anderson and husband Brett of Dawn, Missouri, Kristen Rogers and husband Chase of Marshall, Missouri, Zachary Hutchinson of Nashville, Tennessee, and Carter Higgs of Windsor, Missouri; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dewayne Buswell; infant sister, Dorothy Buswell; and son-in-law, Michael Higgs.
A Celebration of Life service and inurnment will be held at a later date.
