Lendell Douglas “Doug” “Goody” Boydston, of Bigelow, passed away Monday, September 29, 2014. Doug was born on June 11, 1964 in Little Rock, Arkansas to William Thomas and Clara E. Boydston. He was a member of Trinity Assembly of God. Doug was a past President of Arkansas Recreational Vehicle Dealers Association and past Delegate of Recreational Vehicle Dealers Association, previous owner and founder of Mayflower RV. He was a tenor of Melody Boys Quartet and the Kinsmen, Doug was a master barber and employed by Jerry’s Barber Shop.
Doug is preceded in death by one son, Lendell Douglas Boydston Jr., father William Thomas Boydston, mother-in-law Toby “Sugar” Crist, his beloved dog Ladd.
Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Trinity Assembly of God. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home 13801 Chenal Parkway Little Rock, Arkansas (501) 224-8300.
