Services for Mr. Jackie McDill will be held 11am Monday, October 27, 2014 at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Tim Fungay will officiate. Milling Funeral Home of Sebastopol in charge of arrangements.
“Jackie” Carl Jack McDill II, age 42, from Sebastopol, MS departed his earthly home October 21, 2014. Jackie loved driving his “big truck” and all that know him agree that he would be happy knowing he was able to drive it in the hours just preceding his death.
Jackie was born June 5, 1972 in Union, Ms. He attended Sebastopol Attendance Center, where he played football. Jackie was a devoted husband, father and son, well known for his gentle kindness, no nonsense approach to life and tell it like it is conversation. When he wasn’t driving, Jackie spent time with his family, hunted, was Grill Master for family and friends.
Jackie is survived by his wife Kelly, children Hobie, Logan and Abbey, parents Jack and Debbie (Major) McDill, brother Joey McDill (wife Vicky), grandmother Faye Flora, nephew Tanner Davis, niece Gracie McDill.
Jackie was preceded in death by son “CJ” Carl Jack McDill III, grandfather, Reverend Edward McDill, grandmother Lessie McDill and grandfather Bud Flora.
