He was born in Arlington. He was honorably discharged by the United States Army in 1959. He retired from John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company in July of 1994 as a Systems Analyst after more than 40 years of service. Bill (The Babe) loved his girls, the Red Sox, Pats, Celtics and playing cards.
He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his 4 surviving daughters, their families and his friends.
Husband of the late Ann Inglis. Loving father of Kimberly Ferguson of Weymouth, Pamela Maloney and her husband Thomas of Bridgewater, Lorri Inglis of Easton, Jill Carpenter and her husband JR of Warwick, RI and brother of Edwin Inglis of Arlington and several nieces and nephews.
At Bill’s request, there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of Hathaway Family Funeral Homes, Fall River.
