John E. Graham Jr., 48, of 54 Old Barton Road, Waverly, N.Y., passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa.
John was born February 23, 1966 in Sayre, the son of John E. Graham Sr. and Patricia M. Ciavardini Graham. He was a graduate of Waverly High School class of 1984 and was employed by Charm Pools in Waverly from age 16 until the time of his death. John was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, especially geese, and fishing.
He is survived by his fiancé, Jane Perry of Waverly, children, Morgan Shaw and husband Christopher of Jersey Shore, Pa., Joshua Wolcott of Elmira, N.Y., stepchildren, Brittany Vough and husband Jeremy of Owego, N.Y., D.J. Talada of Waverly, grandchildren, Lily Shaw, Cameron Shaw and Izabella Vough as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, many good friends and his canine companion, Jake.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia in March of 2007, his father, John Sr. in September of 2014, infant sister, Susan and by Gersley "Bud" Wolcott, who was a positive influence in his life.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Alteri-Bowen Funeral Home, 314 Desmond St., Sayre, Pa. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. The family suggests that contributions be directed to Wright's Sporting Goods, 95 Ellistown Road, Waverly, NY 14892 for a youth hunter education fund to be established in John's memory.
