TAUNTON/MARION – Stephen J. Inman, 69, formerly of Taunton, died Sunday, April 13, 2008, in Tobey Hospital, Wareham. Born in Taunton, the son of the late Clayton and Lillian (Rogers) Inman, he was the husband of the late Virginia (Enos) Inman.

Educated in the Taunton Public Schools, and later at Bristol Community College in Fall River, he was employed as a machinist working as a tool maker at the Reed and Barton Co. for over thirty-two years. He was the president of Local 593 of the United Silver Workers Union at Reed and Barton. He was veteran of the United States Air Force.

He was always very active with political issues in Taunton. He loved spending time at the beach with the family dog, “Kayla,” and enjoyed following the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.

Mr. Inman was the father of Kimberly Mederios and her husband Thomas of Wareham; Robert Inman and his wife Debi of California; and Stephen Inman and his wife Dee of Tennessee. He was the grandfather of Breanne Trendowski and her husband Ed, and Jason Inman, all of California. He was the brother of Alan Inman, with whom he lived in Marion after the death of his wife, Virginia.

A private family funeral and interment service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton, MA.
