Elmer Lee Wilson, 79, of Siloam Springs, AR passed away at his home on Thursday, Dec 18, 2014.
Elmer was born on Nov 22, 1935, in Gentry, AR, a son of George Wilson and Addie Mae Breeden Wilson.

He married Robin Ione Smith on Dec 30, 1955 in Fordyce, AR. Elmer worked for Bynum Motor Company for many years and later worked for Allen Canning Co, where he was a warehouse manager before his retirement. Elmer served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1962 in the Military Police and was stationed in Guam. Elmer was a member of the American Legion, a lifetime member of the N.R.A. and a member of the First Baptist Church of Siloam Springs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping in his younger year

He is survived by his wife, Robin Wilson of the home; one son Mike Wilson of the home; two daughters, Georgenia and husband Butch Hagedorn of Highfill, and Sandy Wilson Dych of Fayetteville; one brother, Leon and wife Roberta Wilson of Gentry; four grandchildren, Jessie Loyd, Dustin Wilson, Bo Bruner, and Valerie Wilson; four great grandchildren, Ava Bruner, Logan Loyd, Sophia Wilson and Aubrey Wilson.

A Gathering of friends and family will be held on Tuesday, Dec 23, 2014 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
