Oklahoma City resident Dallas Blaine Davis, 88, died Thursday, January 29, 2015 at his home.

Dallas Blaine Davis was born October 19, 1926 in Maxwell, Oklahoma the son of Dallas Davis and Nina (Spurlock) Davis. He married Sharon Jones on August 15, 1948. He served in the United States Navy during WWII in the South Pacific. Mr. Davis worked as a hydraulic mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base before retiring in 1981. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, and gardener.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 daughters: Kathy Lynn Seidl and Carol Elaine Reiswig, a son: Clifford Blaine Davis, and infant grandchild: Seneca Grace Reiswig, and 2 sisters: Pat Charlsa McPherson and Betty Lou Malone.

He is survived by his Wife: Sharon Davis of the home, 1 Daughter: Wanda Lee Fincher and husband Lloyd of Shawnee, 4 Grandchildren: Dallas Blaine Davis III and wife Malinda of Pueblo, CO, Sarah Louise Foster of Midwest City, William Oliver Reiswig and wife Cindy of Blanchard, and Clinton Glenn Seidl and wife Geordan of Dale; 6 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Sister: Mahauta Inez Pennington of Benton, AR, and several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 3, with Rev. Larry Hunter officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Shawnee.
