June Gail Bentley passed away at 7:50 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, at her home in Shawnee.

She was born on Nov. 8, 1937, in Fairbury, Illinois, to Everett Sancken and Kathryn (Colvin) Sancken.

She was raised in Saunemin, Illinois, graduating from Saunemin High School in 1955.

She married Duane Collins on June 16, 1956, divorcing in 1972. She married Chuck Cunningham on Dec. 24, 1973. He passed away in 1992. She moved to Oklahoma in 1998 and married Tom Bentley on Sept. 10, 2000.

She is survived by her husband and four children: Teresa (Jerry) Conley, Poolville, Texas, Tim Collins, and Tami (Steve) Lyons, all of Gridley, Illinois, and Traci (Jim) Brown, Bloomington, Illinois; five step-children: Chuck (Marla) Cunningham, Pontiac, Illinois, Terry (Bob) Cunningham Cleveland, Vero Beach, Florida, Kim (Bill) Meier, Sigourney, Iowa, Sandra (Brad) Thompson, Houston, Texas, Johanna (Ray) Easterling, Shawnee; nine grandchildren: T.J., Brandon (Kayse), Colton and Cody Collins, Whitney, Nick (Jordan) and Sam Lyons, Samantha (Curt) and Quinton Brown; 10 step-grandchildren: Ian and Caitlin Conley, Shanda (Chris) Harms, Lucas (Jessica), Sam (Laura), and Matthew Meier, Jake Cunningham, Samantha Thompson, Garrett Crouse, and Dawson Easterling; three greatgrandchildren: McCarthy, Knight and Harrison Lyons; and three great-step-grandchildren: Seth Cunningham, Calan and Brady Harms.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Lee Sancken and son: Todd Collins.

She was a very kind and caring woman who deeply loved her family and friends. She is very much loved and will be greatly missed.

The family would like to give special thanks to Heartland Hospice.

Visitation with the family will be from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 31, at Dale Church of Christ, with the memorial service immediately following.
