He is the husband of Leah L. (Englert) Buckvitz.
Louis was born in Allentown on July 4, 1933 to the late Louis E. and Julia (Siftar) Buckvitz.
Louis worked at the former Bethlehem Steel Printery for many years until retiring.
He was a member of the Christian Scientist Church, Bethlehem.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife; children: Linda B. (Gary G.) Peters of Lower Saucon Twp., grandchildren: Kristen (Jed) Knoble and Greg (Deb) Peters; great grandchildren: Jacob, Luke & Julianna Peters; nephew: Douglas (Angie) Buckvitz of Bethlehem.
