LEAGUE CITY — Stewart Charles Fogarty, Jr., 59, of League City, passed away on January 30, 2011. He was born on October 12, 1951, to Stewart and Dorothy Fogarty in Cleburne, Texas. Chuck served 23 years as Galveston County Health Inspector and 8 years in Lake Jackson as Director of Environmental Health. He was devoted to the two loves in his life, his wife and his dogs, and spent his spare time as an avid conservationist, recreational golfer, and a great cook.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Fogarty; brother, Mike Fogarty and wife Patrice; nephews, Ryan Dale Woodall and Trey Alan Woodall; great-nephews, Ryan Dale Woodall, Jr., and Parker Alan Woodall; cousin, Dr. Shannon Mitchel. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Crowder Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Ducks Unlimited Inc., One Waterfowl Way, Memphis, TN 38120 or Chaparral Recreation Association, P.O. Box 2029, Texas City, Texas.
