Monique (Janette) Aileen Roberts-Schmidt (Bovill), passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the age of 71. A "Celebration of Life" will be at 2PM on February 15, 2016 at Maine Street Café 810 S. Maine Street, Fallon NV.

Monique was born in Central City, Nebraska to Marjorie "Mae" Dunning and Francis Bovill. She graduated (Class of 62) from St. Joseph's Academy, Omaha Nebraska.

Monique was a devoted wife to her best friend and soul mate, Matthew Schmidt of Fallon, Nevada. They recently celebrated 15 years of marriage in December, 2015. Monique stated over and over how blessed she was with three beautiful children, two daughters and a son. And she quoted "All three are amazing individuals who make me so proud of the people they have become."

Monique's favorite quote: "Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin."

She is preceded in death by her father (Francis Bovill) and Step-Dad, (Harry Lorn Dunning), her mother (Marjorie Mae Dunning), her brother (Gerald Bovill) and her granddaughter (Maddison). Loving Wife of Matt Schmidt, Loving mother to Robert Rudolph (Jacque) (Idaho), Kathy (Tim Stewart) (Nevada) and Connie (Chaz Fliss)(Texas). Cherished sister of Shirley Herival (Arizona) and Sheila Gowan (Tim) (Colorado). Beloved grandmother to Jillian Rudolph (Idaho), Melissa Kizziar (Texas), Maegan Kizziar (Texas), Shelby (Shane Martin) (California), Skyler Swanson (Nevada), Meredith Wright (Texas) and great grandmother to Ellie Rae Martin (California). Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Monique will be remembered by family and friends as not only a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, but also as a rare example of someone who had mastered the art of unconditional love and kindness.

Monique was an avid Country and Music listener and had her own booking agency (Monique Roberts Booking Agency) shared with many on Facebook and other social media platforms. She connected with so many, sharing words on encouragement, building friendships, and impacted so many of our lives with inspiration and showing us God's love. Monique loved JESUS. Through her pain the last couple of months, she always put our Lord and Savior first. She lifted us up with her inspirational messages of Christ's love for us. Now she is no longer in pain and has been set free in the ARMS that are everlasting.

The family asks that friends please say prayers to Monique's memory. She asked that God be with you all. Arrangements by Smith Family Funeral Home-Fallon-423-2255.
