Marilyn Shearn (nee March) Peacock, age 76, of Escondido, CA, died on Sunday, January 20, 2013.

She was born at home on Wednesday, December 23, 1936 in Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset, England to Clifford and Grace March. She moved to the New York post WWII.

She was married to and preceded in death by James Peacock. Marilyn is survived by her son Robert and his wife Kathleen Peacock of Ridgewood, NJ, daughter Cathi and husband Serge Caleca of Escondido, CA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Todd Caleca, Allison and John Baker, Jenni Caleca, Brian Peacock, Valerie Caleca, Ross Caleca, Jessica Peacock and great-grandson Landon Baker. Marilyn worked in administration for the controller at the Diocese on New York, The Cathedral of Saint John the Divine from 1960-1998. She resided in California since 1998 until her passing.

A gathering of family and friends was held in New Jersey on Saturday, April 27, 2013. She was a beautiful mother, devoted grandmother, proud great-grandmother and a true friend. Marilyn will be remembered in the hearts of all who knew her.
