Lucy Caron, 53, died Oct. 18, 1985, at a Fort Fairfield hospital. She was born in Allagash, April 26, 1932, the daughter of William S. and Annie (Rider) Hafford. She is survived by her husband, Alfred O. Caron, Jr. of New Sweden; two daughters Darlene Paul of Blossvale, N.Y., and Carlene Stevens of Gray; one son, Alfred Caron III of Euless, Texas; three brothers, Ephraim and Kenneth Hafford, both of Presque Isle, and George Hafford of Allagash; five sisters, Hannah Pelletier, Bertha Harvey and Stella Robichaud, all of Allagash, Mary Rogers of Merrick, N.Y., and Nora York of Lansford, Pa,; one grandson, Gordon Paul of New Sweden; one granddaughter, Candice Paul of Blossvale, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Allagash Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Paul officating. Burial will be in Allagash Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the Daigle and Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent, 2-9 p.m. Monday and noon until time of services Tuesday.
