Sarah Goodbou, 79, died July 23, 1986, at New Milford, Conn. She was born in Allagash, September 10, 1906, the daughter of Leonard and Caroline (Hafford) Kelly. She had lived in New Milford, Conn. since 1951. Previously, she had resided in Allagash.

She was predeceased by her husband, Rosaire J. Goodbou in 1979. She is survived by two sons, Leonard and Romeo Goodbou, both of Mew Milford, Conn. Four daughters, Mrs. Ida Jandreau of St. Francis, Mrs. Ruth O'Leary of Allagash, Mrs. Joanne Cyr of Roxbury, Conn. and Mrs. Geneva "Nada" Dubray of Kent, Conn., four brothers, George Kelly of St. John, Billy Kelly of Florida, Jasper Kelly of New Milford, Conn. and Jack Kelly of Allagash; three sisters, Mrs. Addison McBreairty, Mrs. Nellie Kelly and Mrs. Phylis McBreairty, all of Allagash, 36 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Allagash Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Bobby Jandreau (Roderick, her grandson) and Rev. P.C. Hughey officiating. Burial will be in the Allagash Municipal Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the Daigle and Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent, 7-9 p.m. Sunday and 12 noon until time of services on Monday.
