Mr. Tabb was a native and lifelong resident of the Augusta area. He was the owner and operator of Tabb Pest Control for the past 32 years. Mr. Tabb was a member of the Sons of American Legion Post 192. He was a member of the Georgia, South Carolina and the CSRA Pest Control Associations.
Family members in addition to his wife include daughters: Leslie Mitchem (Alex) of Monroe, GA and Melissa Wilson (Jim) of Hampton, GA; grandchildren: Chase Wilson, Fisher Mitchem and Caleb Mitchem; brothers: Buck Thurmond, Jack Tabb, Jimmy Tabb and Tommy Tabb; sister: Grace Davis; brother and cousin: Icey Clark and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, October 26, 2016, 6:00 P.M., in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 190 Knox Abbott Drive, Suite 301, Casey, SC 29033.
