Actor. He was a character actor starting in 1903 on a stage in London, and by 1914, he was in British silent films. He is credited with at least 25 films, with the last being in 1948, "Flamingo Affair." He traveled to New York City, appearing between 1916 and 1917 in four plays with one being on Broadway, "Caroline" in September of 1916. Born Arthur William Kellaway, he was the younger brother of award-winning actor Edmund Gwenn. He was married twice with his first wife being actress Estelle Winwood from 1907 to 1928. He had a daughter with his second wife.
