Gene Neeley was a veteran who served as an A1C in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was the son of Lenora M. and Howell E. Neeley. Married for nearly 13 years, he and his wife had lost contact after they separated and she had no idea he had become homeless. With arrangements by Huson Funeral Home he was given a graveside service and burial with full military honors through the Dignity Memorial Homeless Veterans Burial Program.
