Wednesday at Acadian Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ken Broussard officiating. Interment will be held privately at later date.
Visiting hours will be observed today from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. and resume Wednesday at 9 a.m. until the time of service at Acadian Funeral Home.
A lifelong native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Fitch was born on Sept. 26, 1927 and died at 4:25 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004, at Dauterive Hospital.
She is survived by her three sons; Charles Conner and wife Linda Theriot, Kenneth Conner and Nerry Romero and wife Barbara; two daughters, Kay Lamperez and husband Phillip and Bonnie Vedrines and husband Gregory "Tiff" all of New Iberia; 15 grandchildren, Angela Leleux and husband Allen, Uriah Conner and wife Amanda all of Port Arthur, Texas, Jacob, Tobias and Tierra Boutte, Charlotte Theriot, Kalem, Coty, Drey, Kirsten, Dane, Tabby and Coby Romero, Tiffani Vedrines, Wyatt Vedrines; nine great-grandchildren, Blake, Camden and Trevor Leleux, Skylar, Zane and Tristen Conner all of Port Arthur, Texas, Makenzie and Valerie Romero and Sye Boutte.
Mrs. Fitch was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Lee Conner; second husband, Raoul Romero; parents, John C. and Mae Louviere Fitch; two brothers, Lawless and Nolan "Butch" Fitch; two sisters, Rita "Blondie" Thomson and Yola Martin; a daughter, Judy Dupuy Latiolas and a son, George Luke Conner
