~~She was a lifelong Catholic, working at St. Joseph's Church for a decade as lay administrator. She had volunteered at the Women's Hearth drop-in center, an inter community ministry, for the past 20 years and also was a Spokane Child Abuse and Neglect (SCAN) and Hospice volunteer. Her many hobbies included painting, sewing, ceramics, cake decorating, wood working, photography and clay sculpture. She kept herself very active.
~*~Survivors include her children, Tony(Bonnie)Pizelo, Paul(Liz)Pizelo, Mark(Karen)Pizelo, Mike(Jeannie Cooper)Pizelo; five grandchildren;brothers Vince(Bernie)Elbert and Leo(Helen)Elbert; sisters Rita(Joe)Hartman, Gina(Frank)Shotwell; and brother-in-law William(Clara)Sauer.
~~A memorial service was held on November 7 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes.
