Obituary:
Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Coldren Funeral Home for Army Pfc. Alan R. Rader, 20, Route 2, Fostoria, who was killed in combat Sunday in Vietnam. The Rev. Earl Newell will officiate, with burial in Memory Gardens, Arcadia.
Born in Fostoria Aug. 22, 1949 he was a son of Max R. and Patricia Jane (Huffman) Rader... Also surviving are two sisters... and a brother..., all at home and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Huffman...
A 1968 graduate of Arcadia High School, Pfc. Rader entered the service June 19, 1969. He had been in Vietnam since Dec. 6. He was a member of Company A, 2nd Battalion, 14th Infantry, 25th Infantry Division. Before entering the service, he had been a carpenter and also was employed by the Whitey & Lafferty appliance store in Findlay.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and Sunday at times to be announced.
