PORT LAVACA - Jerry Lee Spicer, 64, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011, in Port Lavaca. He was born on Dec. 30, 1946, to Charles (Jack) Spicer and Claudie (Chick) Heidaker Spicer.
Jerry retired from Union Carbide after 34 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Spicer; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Eric Black; stepchildren, Regina and Tommy Fisher, Melissa and Gary Weinman, Shane and Sherry Sparks; and grandchildren, Hannah and Nathaniel Black, Hunter, Madison, Josh, Caden, and Landon Sparks, Tyann and Alana Lester.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jerry will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
