Graveside services for Mrs. Vicki E. Turner of Donie will be held on Friday at 10:00a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Teague. Bro. Benny Mize will officiate.
Visitation will be held on Thursday with the family present from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Turner passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at the Limestone Medical Center in Groesbeck.

She was born on November 5, 1935, in San Antonio and attended schools in Edinburgh, Florence, and Colorado, Tx before graduating high school in Goldthwaite. She earned a B.A. Degree in Journalism from North Texas State College and taught school in Teague for many years. Mrs. Turner was a member of First Baptist Church in Donie.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Turner of Donie; three brothers-in-law, Tom Turner & wife Pat of Houston, Donny Turner & wife Janice of Teague, and Ken Turner & wife Sandra of Jewett; two nieces, Leighann Hackerman & husband Chris, and Kristi L. Clawson; one nephew, Trent Turner; and five great-nieces & nephews, Aidan Turner, Everleigh Turner, Brady Clawson, Laraleigh Hackerman, and Lane Hackerman.

Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Massey and her parents, Vic & Ethel Koleber.
